The Dnipropetrovsk Oblast became the first in Ukraine, where a new National Police project was introduced. Each AH will have its own police officer assigned to the hromada. He will be in constant contact with the residents and will take care only of their needs. The pilot project of the National Police was entitled as “Police Officer of the Hromada”. The Dnipropetrovsk Oblast was chosen as a pilot oblast for its implementation.

According to Serhii Knyazyev, head of the National Police of Ukraine, the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast is a leader in decentralisation and has 60 AHs ready to cooperate in the project implementation.
