On 29 November, the Kaniv City Council decided to adjoin the Yablunivka rural hromada after the Yablunivka Vllage Council finally adopted the decision on accession on 21 November.
Therefore, the amalgamation procedure is completed, and this is the first accession to the city of oblast significance in the Cherkasy Oblast.
