On 29 November, the Marhanets City Council decided to adjoin the Novokyivka rural hromada.

The Novokyivka Village Council adopted the decision on 27 November 2018.

Thus, the hromadas have passed all the stages provided by the Law of Ukraine “On Voluntary Amalgamation of Hromadas”. Thus, the hromadas of the villages of Novokyivka, Novokamyanka, Vilne, Dobra Nadiya, Illinka of the Novokyivka Village Council voluntarily joined the Marhanets urban hromada.
