“Reform that inspires” – decentralisation discussed in UA: Donbas TV studio

This time the Donbas.Lite project “Rankovi Tereveni” (“Morning Chit-Chat”) on UA: Donbas TV Channel is dedicated to an important topic – decentralisation in Ukraine.

Serhii Ivakhnin, local finance advisor of the Donetsk Local Government Development Centre, established with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme, made a clear description of the benefits of amalgamation and prospects of hromadas’ development in the Donetsk Oblast to the programme presenter and TV-audience.

Decentralisation is one of the most successful reforms in Ukraine, when the state transfers powers to the local level of hromadas, and hromadas themselves decide in which format to live further,” said Serhii Ivakhnin.
