Communications strategy or AH youth activation

At the training "Development of a communications strategy implementation plan", PR specialists of the Zhytomyr Oblast’s AHs, together with Dmytro Klymenko, communications adviser of the Zhytomir Local Government Development Centre, established by the U-LEAD with Europe Programme and MinRegion of Ukraine, prepared three plans for strategy implementation.

"In July, we organised a training on developing communications strategies for my colleagues, communications specialists. Today, we have prepared the plans for their implementation. Thus, at the training we developed an algorithm for writing programme documents in order for hromadas to create them on their own," said Dmytro Klymenko.

The training participants discussed the issues of activating hromada youth, creating a youth NGO and monetising tourism in hromada. The team of experts from the Popilnyanska, Ovrutska, Semenivska AHs and Olena Kovalenko, Ombudsman’s representative in the Zhytomyr Oblast, developed ideas and event cycles to involve the youth in hromada development and management.
