Own revenues of local budgets in 2017 increased to UAH 192 billion, while the balances of local budgets remained at the level of the last year and, according to the latest data of the State Treasury Service of Ukraine, amounted to UAH 54.4 billion, informed Hennadii Zubko, Vice Prime Minister – Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine.
“Local self-government bodies should report to their hromadas on the efficient use of not only their own revenues in 2017, but also funds received in the form of state support – the State Fund for Regional Development, subventions for the development of AH infrastructure, socio-economic development, hub schools, customs experiment funds for major repairs of local roads, etc.,” said Hennadii Zubko.
According to him, the funds directed to local budgets should primarily work to improve the quality of life in hromadas.
